FF.net question regarding R/FRM fics
I'm going through my fics and noticing a few aren't uploaded to FF.net that probably could be. (A couple I never will!).

I don't frequent FF.net often to read and I don't pay much attention to the politics over there, I just try to abide by their rules. So my question is - how militant are they these days about pulling things due to content? How graphic does something need to be to fall under their unacceptable side of things? Anyone have any experience with these issues recently?

I know a couple of years ago they were deleting things, but I'm not sure if they still are today. I have things posted here and on my own web site I really don't care so much if something gets deleted, but there are a couple of fics that are longer in length that I don't want to go through the effort of formatting for their site and uploading to FF.net just to have them go poof.

AO3 is becoming more popular, but FF.net is still the place I get the most traffic and get hits on my older stuff.

I don't think they're as militant anymore. It really depends on the fandom and the kind of fan base a fandom has. Like if I post a sex scene for say the Arrow fandom, I would totally edit it. Same for Thor. I would always make a note if they want to see the full scene they can find me on AO3 or LJ.

Smaller fandoms or dead fandoms, I don't think you need to worry. And if they take it down you can just edit it and post it again. They won't suspend you over one strike.
